Construction Update - July 31, 2026
Dear Family Members, Friends, and Benefactors,
It has been too long since the last update. Most of the work has focused on the exterior to finish laying the brick, install gutters, and finally shingle the roof. We are happy to share that the work has progressed very well. The exterior brick is 99% completed, just waiting for installation of the beautiful marble tympanum over the main entrance door. The gutters are fully in place; the shingles are all done except on the three apses, the conical shape of those roofs need careful attention.

In the two images above, the downspouts are not yet installed nor has the brick been washed. The following images show brick that has been cleaned with a mild acid solution to wash off dirt and excess mortar.
Within the following week or two the tympanum will be set in place along with the three statues that will rest in the three brick niches on the front façade. Meanwhile interior work is being done: drywall, plaster, electrical systems, etc.
